- [St. Louis letterhead of Edison United Mfg] "I send the enclosed for your attention. If he has a tin mine, lets go for him. ### Things are boiling here. The Gas Company wanted to buy a plant, when they could not, then they tried to keep my friends frorm going in. They have failed at that and I understand they are very much worked up to know what to do. My wife writes that Humbird has beent to New York twice since I left looking for me. She never tells him where I am. I have kept my name out of the papers here when to my surprise the Electrical World has it as large as life.
