- Editor's Notes
- "I herewith enclose you a letter from Mr. Frazar regarding Mr. IWADARE, who has been at the Machine Works for some time past. I think that it is a mistake to allow the Japanese to come into any of our concerns, as they have absolutely no conception of business morality. After receiving instructions from the Edison Companies, they will not hesitate a moment to use it against the Edison Companies interests. ### Mr. Frazar has asked, for the past year and a half, that the Japanese be kept out of the Edison concerns, as he felt certain that they would use their information against him, and against you." Yours very truly, Francis R. Upton [Marginalia: "File this as may want it when I bounce the Japanese."]
