- Editor's Notes
- "I had a talk with Johnson to day and he said he thought I was right to refuse the offer made me. I did not get my satisfaction from him. He seemed to avoid the subject. He said 'here if you want to make some money here take this Sprague Motor Stock $250,000 and place it + I will give you 10%.' I took + will try to place it as I want to do something. Benton says Johnson is disgusted with Drexel Morgan people and he will get out. ### I do not know what is the matter but I find they are very indifferent about doing any business. ### I would like to come and spend some evenings or some day with you so we can talk. Let me know what time will suit you or come sir and go to Coney Island with me. Tell Mrs. Edison I will take care of you as I am very steady + good."
