Having been sent to this country by The Globe newspaper of London, England to obtain interviews with prominent men in science, arts, literature and politics, I take the liberty of asking you to grant me a little of your time in order to ask your opinions and views regarding the present condition and the future of electricity. Your name and labours are so well known and so highly esteemed in Great Britain that even the briefest conversation you may kindly see fit to allow and the smallest amount of information you may be good enough to impart to me couldn't fail to be most deeply interesting to the readers of the newspaper I represent.
