Title
[D8807AAY], Letter from Electrical Review (N.Y. City), Charles Wilson Price to Thomas Alva Edison, April 16th, 1888
Editor's Notes
We would very much like to take up at once the matter of your lab and illustrate and describe it thoroughly, comprehensively and graphically in the Electrical Review. To do this as it should be done, so that the inhabitants of this great globe may have a just conception of the magnificent monument your genius and efforts produced, I think we should have photographs taken in the Power and Dynamo Rooms, Supply Rooms, Library, Lecture Room, Experimental Rooms generally and Chemical and other departments and one or two outside views. I would come out with our McTighe, and with the intelligent aid of Kennelly think we could prepare an article to accompany the illustrations that would be highly creditable from a literary and electrical, or any other, standpoint. We could duplicate and send to "London Engineering" as before. # This would be, to carry it out as I now conceive, a great undertaking, of interest and value to all concerned, and we will gladly give our time to it, and bear all expenses connected with it other than the bare cost of the cuts. They would foot up probably, if made first class in every respect and in the number that I think they should be, from $150.00 to $250.00. # Can we not call and see you at an early date and start this matter? TAE marg: say that sometime in May will take it up as I am not yet complete]
