- Editor's Notes
- [NYC; write is acquantance/associate of Lathrop] "You have always been so kind and courteous to me that I hesitate asking you to take still further trouble on my behalf. [S. S.?] McClure, however who controls an inmportant newspaper syndicate, has asked me to procure for him a signed interview with Mr. Edison on the present state of electrical science and its possibl future. Don't you think Mr Edison could be prevailed on to give me half an hour's chat? The article would be strictly non-commital and NON-autobiographical!......"
