Title
[D8814AAS], Letter from Dr Cornice to Thomas Alva Edison, January 30th, 1888
Editor's Notes
On my return to the island, Dr. Thomas, the superintendant, tells me that he will not release me from my present engagement without five days notice during which time he can get a man to take my place. If I leave the island right away I shall have two months' salary. Will you kindly keep the position open for me until next Monday at which time I will report for duty at [..] Park. Please advise if this will be satisfactory.
