- Editor's Notes
- On my return to the island, Dr. Thomas, the superintendant, tells me that he will not release me from my present engagement without five days notice during which time he can get a man to take my place. If I leave the island right away I shall have two months' salary. Will you kindly keep the position open for me until next Monday at which time I will report for duty at [..] Park. Please advise if this will be satisfactory.
