- Editor's Notes
- I the undersigned am an office man out of work and in my endeavor to try to get to work again, I am unfortunately compelled to [--] people who are entire strangers to me. I know that you are interested in, or control many enterprises, wherein I judge, a vast amount of office work had to be attended to. I have on former occasions resorted to the means of addressing business people, at random with a view of finding out whether they had positions in their gift (life?) or not, and have been successful in at least one instance.
