- [D8814ABH], Letter from Charles Hildreth Lewis to Thomas Alva Edison, March 12th, 1888
- Editor's Notes
- Arthur Jones who graduated from the Institute of Technology in June wrote a few days ago to see if you would have a vacant position in your electrical department. He mentioned the fact to me, can I volunteer to offer my endorsement of him. He is such a man as I take reason in recommending to you for I know you could like him and he could prove [p--] to you so if you have a vacancy in that department I hope you will send for him for an interview. # I hope soon to have the pleasure of calling on you and talk over many old times--I shall also send you a Photograph of my son Edison Lewis -- he is a fine boy and I hope he will make his mark in the world. TAE marg: say I'm all full but will put name on list
