Title
[D8814ABI], Letter from W S Chesley to Alfred Ord Tate, March 13th, 1888
Editor's Notes
Can you offer me anything in the way of electrical work of some kind. I am a good electrician but do not claim to be an expert, and have been in the employ of the Western Union Telegraph Co for the past ten years and was formerly manager of their office at Galveston Texas. For the last six months I have been employed in the operating room at 195 Broadway but the close confinement in a poorly ventilated room with 500 people in it made me sick and I left the service of the Company a few days ago and am now looking for other employment. I have been to your office but was unable to find you there. If you have any place you could offer me I will call and see you. I am very steady and in every way reliable and can give you references if you so desire. I would be pleased to hear from you.
