Title
[D8814ACI], Letter from O Tauchert to Thomas Alva Edison, May 21st, 1888
Editor's Notes
Some months ago the undersignerd applied to you for an office position. I received a reply from your private secretary stating that no vacancy existing then, my application had been placed on file. # This has been my uniform experience for nearly five months and being very tired of idleness, and recognizing the fact that no dishonor attaches to work, I now beg to request you, to give me a job in your factory as a laborer. Hoping you will be in a position to give me employment.
