- Title
- [D8814ADU1], Recommendation Letter from Franklin and Marshall College, Thomas Gilmore Apple to Frank W Bushong, March 5th, 1888
- Editor's Notes
- [is a translation of a reference in German] Bushong of Lancaster PA has been studying since the fall of the year 1885 under my direction in this University and has been busy during all this time in the Chemical Lab of the University. # Bushong has hitherto passed through qualitative and quantitative analysis by measurement and weight and is now occupied with researches in the field of Organic Chemistry. Exquisite diligence, clear understanding, cleverness, and conscientiousness caused the excellent success which Bushong enjoyed in his theoretical and practical work.
