re your letter 30th, I beg to say TAE is pleased with your recommendation of young Strickland. Just at present affairs in connection with this now lab are not sufficiently far advanced to warrant the increase of our present staff, but we will take advantage of that first opportunity which occurs to give this gentleman a trial. When TAE is ready I will address a letter to you, which I think will go forward in the course of a couple of months. [New name mention Strickland.]
