re your letter 13th, TAE says Deshler's position and the services which he renders do not entitle him to any more salary. This ought to be apparent to Deshler. TAE says further that if Deshler had any ambition he would assist in experimenting and initiate things himself and not always require to be told what to do. If he would make himself more useful, TAE would not object to increasing his salary; but the latter does not consider that this increase should be made now. TAE says you can show this letter to Deshler.
