Title
[D8818AAB], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Gilbert and Barker Manufacturing Co, January 3rd, 1888
Editor's Notes
“We have received a bill from you for $1,440.25, of which we notice $900 is for the Generator, as per your letter to TAE of August 15th, in which you agree to furnish it for that sum.” The only items included are the pipes and fittings for the outside of the drum. Is the plain iron drum, with a filler pipe, all that we get for $900? “If so, we should like to know whether there is anything inside of the arm or not, as we think it is an outrageous price.”
