- Editor's Notes
- I received your letters of the 29th and 30th ult. In reference to the former, the arrangement which you suggest as to the disposition of your time is quite satisfactory. I hope that the Coquimbite battery will not be too troublesome as I am anxious to satisfy the Penn R.R. people. I think by tonight we will have some of TAE's new battery in circuit.##In relation to your second letter, we can run 117 miles of No. 11 hard drawn copper wire without any trouble. We have found that the wire we are using is the best one available, although we may need to make some adjustments in connection to the new battery; you had better wait for this.##Messrs. Bergmann & Co. sent me the enclosed copy of a letter in regards to battery material prices for the Penn R.R.
