- Editor's Notes
- In reply to your letter of Nov. 20th, I beg to say that I am conducting experiments on submarine communication in Florida, where I have another laboratory. I have just constructed a new laboratory here, which has prevented me from going to Florida this winter. But next winter, I shall return to my experiments in Florida and, if the success I meet with it warrants it, I will send the apparatus to establish communication with the mainland and charge nothing for the service.
