- Title
- [D8818ADF], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Joseph Hutchinson, February 7th, 1888
- Editor's Notes
- "Mr. Insull made personal mention to me yesterday of the matter referred to in yours of the 6th inst., and it would interest me to have you substantiate the statement which you are good enough to make."##It is strange to me that would would try to effect an arrangement with the Light Company even though you knew you were handicapped.##I would have been glad if you had taken advantage of your knowledge of your weakness and requested me to deal with Mr. Coster.##The broad statement you attribute to me is false and I am prepared to prove that you are misinformed.
