- Referring to a bill from Tomlinson for $50, Dyer asked, through the Machine Works, if it were possible for the Lamp Co. to send lamps to Switzerland without violating any contracts TAE made with regard to lighting Switzerland. This meant interpreting a number of documents. The result has been to open up Swiss field for the sale of Edison lamps.
