Title
[D8818AEJ], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Samuel Insull, February 18th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"I have just had a conversation with Mr. Edison in regard to finances. I think that you are aware that he has been waiting to effect an arrangement with Mr. Villard before doing anything in regard to the Phonoograh, which is the resource that we are looking to now to provide ourselves with funds...."Creditors are pressing for money that Tate and TAE don't have. Tate asks Insull if he can help out by giving up to $1000. Villard will visit TAE soon but Tate does not think Villard will provide much funding.
