- [D8818APJ], Letter from Charles Batchelor, Edison Phonograph Works to D F Hunter, July 17th, 1888
- Editor's Notes
- Concerns problems with freight, described in an attached letter from Pratt & Whitney Co. "We have a switch from off your railroad into our yard, and always in ordering the shipping of machinery we order it sent by your road. A number of times our consigners have disregarded these instuctions and sent them via D.L. & W.R.R." Indicates that "it seems they are not able to ship direct to us over your road without paying a much higher rate," and asks "what you can do for us in the matter" as he has has "telegraphed them to hold the machines there."
