- Your letter of the 31st ult. and the experience which we have had mutually in connection with Japanese business has caused me to decide to keep Japanese workmen out of our factories hereafter. The Westinghouse plant which Iwadare is sending to Japan will be a failure on account of lightning, against which no protection has been devised in connection with this method of electric lighting.
