Title
[D8818AQU], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Henry Villard, August 4th, 1888
Editor's Notes
I was very much pleased to receive your note and will be glad to have you come out any afternoon next week and, if possible, spend the night with me, or if you prefer I will go in to New York and spend the night with you. I wish you to consider your own convenience. If you would like me to name a definite day, I will appoint Tuesday, and you can change it if necessary to suit yourself. # I thank you for your kind congratulation. The baby is quite well and at present enjoying an outing with its mother at Chautaqua.
