- Title
- [D8818ATN], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Charles Sampson Kelley, September 19th, 1888
- Editor's Notes
- TAE received your letter 13th, re exhibiting phonograph at industrial Exposition to be opened in your city October 1st. # Our Phonograph factory at Orange, NJ, is just completed, and not yet in full operation. There have only been a few instruments manufactured, and, as phonograph is in great demand for exhibition purposes, it would be impossible to let you have one for two weeks. TAE will send one of his Experts to New Bedford some day during the Fair to exhibit phonograph for one day and evening, and if you will communicate with us further naming a day for the exhibition, we will arrange accordingly.
