Title

[D8818AUD], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Charles Sampson Kelley, October 1st, 1888

Editor's Notes

New name mention: Cornelius E. Nestor. I beg to acknowledge receipt of your telegram of to-day as follows: 'Wrote you Sept 21st naming Oct. 4th, 88 day for exhibiting phonograph; no reply yet; please answer. C. S. Kelley.' # To which I replied: 'Telegram received. Two experts with phonograph will be on hand Thursday morning. TAE.' Your letter 21st came, but was overlooked owing to press of business. Nestor and Dunham, the experts referred to, will leave here Wednesday afternoon, reaching New Bedford the following morning, when they will immediately report to yourself. Trusting that this is satisfactory.
