- Title
- [D8818AUF], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Henry Villard, October 2nd, 1888
- Editor's Notes
- [typed] Have your letter 1st, re appointing an expert other than McClement to examine the books of the shops. # There has been a great deal of discussion and considerable correspondence, in which I have participated to a certain extent, re the way this examination should be conducted, and a decision has finally been reached. I do not think it would be well now to make any change, but that McClement should proceed with his investigation and submit his reports as soon as practicable.
