"We are in receipt of your favor of the 11th inst concerning deed. We herewith return the deed in order that seal of Notary may be affixed [unclear]. You will see seal is placed on opposite page. The equity sent #6683 was broght by your and Gen Harrington against the W.U. Telegraph Co for an injunction acct. being apparently based on some claim of infringement of patent 162,633 etc. Suit was dismissed July 21, 1880. In addition to bill of $24.45 costs, we will deduct cost of deed and our commission before remitting for purchase of sale, making net amt to be sent to you $1276.93."
