Title

[D8820AAF], Letter from William Henry Meadowcroft to Alfred Ord Tate, June 13th, 1888

Editor's Notes

"What do you desire to have done in regard to that bust of Mr. Edison's as to which I wrote you last Saturday? Of course, your orders to shiop it out to the Laboratory will be complied with promptly. ### I would mention, that we thought it desirable to extend the invitation to Friday nights' lecture to five of the principal daily papers in New York, as there will not be anythign in the leture that need be concealed I presume, and it is just as well to keep Mr. Edison's name before the public. ### I trust we shall have the pleasure of seeing Mr. Edison on Friday night. I shall come out to the Laboratory on Friday afternoon with those parties from Youth's Comapnion, Boston, for whom you gave me the photos." Yours truly, Wm. Meadowcroft
