Title
[D8820AAG], Letter from Samuel Insull to Alfred Ord Tate, June 16th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"I asked Hutchinson some time ago to look up the Bust of Mr. Edison, which was at #65 Fifth Avenue, and which is my property, inasmuch as Mr. Edison made me a present of it when I was living at #247 Fifth Avenue. I wanted to get it to send to Philadelphia, so as to enable Prof. Marks to have a marble copy of it made. ### You can imagine my surprise when I heard from Hutchinson that you had ordered the Bust sent to the Laboratory. You werew ith me at the time Mr. Edison gave it to me, and must remember it being in my rooms at #247 Fifth Avenue. ### Will you please have it sent to Prof. W.D. Marks, #435 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, Pa., freight paid. Please send it immediately and advise me of same." Yours very truly, Saml Insull [Marginalia: "Ans June 18/88"]
