"We are informed by the Custom House brokers that the samples of Bamboo were permitted to Mr. Thos. A. Edison on Oct 20-87 and the records shows delivery on that date so the presumption is, that they were taken by Mr. Edison or his agt--We enclose bill $2.20 rendered us by the brokers."
