Title
[D8828ABC], Letter from Ezra C Williams to Thomas Alva Edison, April 5th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Would you kindly tell me what your charges would be for lighting Washington St. from corner of Valley Road and said street, each to the Orange line about 1500 feet in all. Said corner is 1500 feet north of your Laboratory. All in West Orange. The Crosstown RR is to run to that corner and the road must be lighted. It is hardly just to [unclear--ink blot] to ask them to lay their main through that street when electricity is so soon to supplant gas. ### When I receive your bid I shall be pleased to make prompt application to Town Committee to act on it." Yours Ezra C. Williams TAE mMarginalia: "Tate Tell him I have no curernt to spare all my capacity taken" "
