- "I agree to cut and ship from the province of Mattogrosso Brazin to Buenos Ayres Argentine Republick. Bamboo equal to the samples left here, no joing to be less than 9 inches long to be cut only on the decline of the Moon, inside of joint to be cut away and not to be exposed to rain, to be kept dry, to be boxed and delivered free of charge on the port of Buenos Aires to such adress as you may give. I to be paid three hundred dolars for every five thousand joints ordered, the Money to be paid on delivery of boxes in Buenos Ayres and no order to be less than five thousand joints. ### ore I will superintend the cutting boxing and shipping of such quantities as you may require in this province ore in the adjoining provinces of Bolivia for the monthly payment of one hundred dollars."
