- [D8830AAD], Letter from John H Vail to Thomas Alva Edison, February 3rd, 1888
- Editor's Notes
- "I hand you herewith a copy of a report which I have written up on our general system of underground conductors. ### As this report speaks for itself, it is unnecessary for me to enter into any explanation of it other than to say, that I believe all of the recommendations contained therein, if adopted, would be to the ultimate benefit of the underground system. ### Will you kindly give the report careful consideration, as Mr. Johnson desires several of us to get together and have a discussion on it at an early date. ### A copy of this report has been handed to Mr. Johnson, and also to Mr. Kruesi."
