Title
[D8830ABB], Letter from William J Jenks to Thomas Alva Edison, June 29th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Mr. George B. Durfee, of Fall River, states that he was at the Laboratory day before yesterday, and left with Mr. Batchelor, as I recommended, some samples of zinc to prepared with a percentage of Mercury as to prevent the necessity of amalgamating during the entire period of their use. ### I presume those samples may be of considerable interest to Mr. Kennelly in the experiments he is now carrying on as to zinc for meter plates, and should be glad to know what the result of his investigation may be as to whehter this process has any advantages for our work." Very truly yours, W. J. Jenks
