These lamps were borrowed from the American Company for the purpose of experimenting before the American Company went into liquidation, and as we are among the largest Creditors we intend to maintain possession of these lamps until the final adjustment of our claim against the American Company, and therefor will be obliged if you will hold them for our account and not deliever them to any one except upon our order."
