Title
[D8831ABI], Letter from William Preston Hix to Thomas Alva Edison, June 28th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"A proposition has been made me to leave the Edison Co. and as my contract ends July 1st I can do so I think the offer is much better than the Edison Co can or will make me. As you have always been my friend I want to lay before you so that if I do leave the Edison Co. you will know exactly why I did so. ### Please regard this as confidential and write to me where I can see you. ### I have to give the party an answer in a week." Yours truly, W. Preston Hix [Marginalia: "Tate-Tell Hix to come over- E]
