- "We are desirous to making a small lamp for medical purposes which shall be the best made in the world. ### For this type of lamp we need a very fine fibre. We wish you would send us some fibre that you think is right. We now use a 6 x 6 bamboo, but feel that if we can get a round fibre smaller than this, we can bring up the resistance of the lamp, and make the clamping still easier than now."
