- "Referring to the matter of the installation of the edison Electric Light plant in St. Johnsland, about which you inquire, I beg to say that the sole and only representative of the Edison Light in connection with that plant is Mr. Joseph Hutchinson, Secretary of The Edison Machine Works, 19 Dey St., New York. The original installation, and all subsequent increases or additions to the plant, are under this control as Agent of the Edison United Manufacturing Company."
