Title
[D8837AAH], Letter from Charles Edward Chinnock to Charles Batchelor, September 6th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Here is our Wiring Department's explanation of the difficulty re Mr. Burke's installation. Of course, we will pay any expense incurred in repairing the grounds caused by the Wiring Department's oversight. ### This contract was secured and material ordered by the Edison Wiring Company. ### I realize the necessity of doing all we can to satisfy Mr. Burke, and I have no doubt he has put up with many annoyances in connection with the installation. ### Since you are on the ground, you are no doubt familiar with all the circumstances, and I trust you will forward me any suggestions you see fit to make so that we can take some action with a view of straightening matters out. ### I forward you the sample of damaged cable." Truly yours, C.E. Chinnock [Batchelor marginalia: "Mr. Tate Please show this to Mr. Kennelly and then keep CB"]
