Editor's Notes
[re: rock drill] ]In answer to many requests from miners at home and abroad, this company is about to publish an edition of five thousand copies of its revised "Mining Work" data. # These will go among others into the hands of our eighteen hundred mining engineers in this and foreign countries who already have our former [---]ise in their hands. With many of these, we are in correspondence and business negotiations. # Among the illustrations which the [--------] will have, we wish to include one of the Edison Drill. # Would you furnish us with a drawing from which such an illustration can be made. # We believe this would be naturally advantageous. [TAE marginalia: couldn't furnish it until we have finished the model and it works its [illeg] made now"]
