Title
[D8842AAJ], Letter from Arthur Marichal to Thomas Alva Edison, July 20th, 1888
Editor's Notes
Would you please allow me to ask you whether you are not going to make any exhibits at the Paris Exhibition of 1889 and, in the affirmative, whether you should not wish to have somebody to represent you or as [---]. # It is my intention to go to Paris to visit the exposition and it would afford me great pleasure to take charge of any exhibits you should want to make. # I am a civil and mechanical engineer, native of France, of 11 years experience and for the past 5 years engaged in this country. I am well posted on electrical matters. # I can talk French, German and English fluently. I am a member of the Philadelphia Engineers Club and can give the very best references.
