Abstract

in receipt of your letter 18th, re your taking part in the Universal Exposition of 1889. Before replying in a definite manner to the proposition which you have made us, we ask two questions, on account of the large expense necessary for the placing, care, and other incidentals for making a proper display. # First:- ground plan and elevation of such exhibition you propose making? # Second:- detailed plan of the Lamp Tower? # When we receive these two designs, will reply to you in a definite manner, having it well understood that all material shall be f.o.b. at the Exhibition, and return at your expense.
