- Editor's Notes
- "Has the construction of your mineral laboratory progressed far enough that my services would be of use to you in the Rocky Mountain country? ### I have been waiting for this employment since last fall and have prepared myself for it as much as circumstances would permit. ### I thought it proper to remind you at this time, as the mining season has opened fully and with an activity before unknown in Colorado." Respectfully, Paul D. Dyer "P.S. What do you thnk of copper and iron (low grade) in large veins where wood and water are abundant and labor cheap? I can get control of a number of such properties that are just being developed up Bear Creek. Will send samples if you want them." TAE marg: "Wite and say that I can do something soon. What I want now is samples of gold sulphurete ie pure sulphurants containing gold My process is completed for working this kind of ore"
