[D8845ABC], Letter from North Carolina. Land and Immigration Bureau, F E McAllister to Thomas Alva Edison, May 16th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"As our official Bureau organized for the benefit of the people of North Carolina, we desire to learn all we can about your process for reducing refractory ores for the information of those in the three golden belts of that state who have considerable one on their dumps or in sight that they are unable to use. If your process has reached perfection and you are prepared to communicate, please give us everything you can that we may send it it to the press of Raleigh Charlotte Salisbury + other points that are centres for these mines of refractory ores."
