Title
[D8845ADS], Letter from John Birkinbine to Thomas Alva Edison, September 25th, 1888
Editor's Notes
[written from Phila.] "It is my expectation to reach your laboratory about noon on Thursday. The uncertainty of some of the Pennsylavania trains stopping at Newark, make it impracticable to fix any exact time in the forenoon, but I will come as early as possible prepared to stay as late as you wish. I have written to Messers. Witherbee, Sherman & Co. suggesting that Mr. F.S. Witherbee meet me there. ### I took the liberty of addressing Mr. Thomas last week in relation to my visit. I have collected considerable data which I think will be of interest to you and will give you when we meet.
