"I met Mr. Mallory in Chicago yesterday and learn that he is not yet ready to operate his plant at the Humboldt [unclear]. As I have to go to Texas I have deferred my visit to the Concentrating Plant-his had a long conference with Mr. Mallory, and think that I have been of some [unclear] and can and [unclear]. This I will be glad to do. My trip to Texas will possibly forward me calling on you prior to the meeting of the [unclear] of Charcoal Iron workers, but I will endeavor to get [unclear] so as to confer with you in advance. If not I will write you-I expect to be with the party on the afternoon of the 6th [unclear] at your laboratory- and be prepared to aid you in bringing the [unclear] into notice. I have requested that information as to the probable number who will [unclear] he sent to you next week. If we have party enough for a car can we arrange for some special facilities with the Green and Lake RR. ### Unless I can see you in the 3rd or 4th I will write you fully but will try to get back to see you.
