- "We are still awaiting your instructions to proceed with erecting the ore separator. Meantime everything is ready at [----- ----] whre the packages are placed in safety. I received the other day the enclosed letter from Col. Gouraud. I replied stating that I had acquiesced in the Crystal Palace suggestion because I was under the impression he was your general representative here, and therefore that his suggestion called for consideration and acceptance. ## As regards his request for repayment of the 30 pounds he advanced to Mr. Wiley, I said I would be glad to accede on learning your intention to that effect, but that meantime I had drawn upon you for the amount I had [-------] I enclose you statment of act up to Dec 1 & will draw on you for the 56 pounds advanced by me."
