I inclose an affidavit which I would like you to sign and return. It relates to your application in which you claim broadly, a removable phongram blank. This is rejected on a patent to Tainter the application for which was filed Dec. 2, 1887. I suppose there is no doubt that you had the invention before that time. I don't think there will be any interference since the Tainter patent does not claim the inveniton.
