- Editor's Notes
- We shall be put to heavy expense in taking out the foreign ore milling patents, and have to ask therefore for an advance on account of that matter. We shall probably have to spend over $2000 and if Mr. Edison can let us have a check early next week for say $1500 or $2000 it would help us out a good deal. We are out now somewhere near $1000 in fees on phonograph mattes for which we have not yet rendered a billl and this makes us rather short financially.##Kindly give this matter that prompt attention for which you are justly celebrated and oblige.
