Editor's Notes
"I wish I could have stayed this evening to hear the restul of the application of the unguent of air to the phonograph as suggested by me this afternon, and I am afraid that I shall not be able to leave the city tomorrow. ### I shall therefore be obliged if you would telegraph whether or no the idea has any good effect, as I have other notions regarding the application of the current of air to telephones phonographs etc." Yours truly P. Everitt [Marginalia: "Write and say we have two new plans of association this week and young [unclear] had to prepare for it will try it Monday or Tuesday" "Ans 9/6/88"]
